Fingerprint Friday: Imagination
By MAD21
My kids, like most, love sidewalk chalk. Our entire driveway and the sidewalks next to it are like a blank canvass to them, and they love going out every sunny afternoon to cover them with their art.
I love the transition kids go through when they are so little from needing you to tell them or show them what to draw, to being completely independent and coming up with all kinds of amazing things on their own. Not to mention the joy they feel in showing you their masterpieces.
I love the creativity and imagination that my kids have, and the joy they feel when sharing it with others. Their love and imagination are beautiful fingerprints of God.
Kind of makes you wonder how God felt when he was designing the world, doesn't it? My kids think He must have loved blue and green, because there is so much of it, "and it matches everything!"
Fellow blogger Beki at The Rusted Chain has a really great weekly post she does every Friday called "Fingerprint Friday." We are to look around and see where we can see God's fingerprints. Is it in nature? Kids? Animals? Anywhere? Go find out where Beki saw God this week, and be sure to check out the other bloggers who linked their stories as well.

This is one of the parts of teaching I miss. There is nothing as special as watching and listening to kids as their imagination comes to fruition!!! Beautiful fingerprint~
How beautiful! I love the soft colors. Looks like everyone had a lot of fun drawing. I can only begin to imagine God's boundless joy in creating the world! My grandkids and I have a blast creating with polymer clay when we get together. They have such great ideas. I love to see all the little sculptures they make.
I'm sorry the pictures aren't clearer. Photoshop was fighting with me yesterday and made all my pictures blurry. Grr.
Thanks for the comments :o)
I love summertime at our house because our youngest and her friends keep our sidewalk and driveway COVERED in chalk pictures :-)
Beautiful drawings and the colors are lovely! I love how children's minds work, especially when it comes to creativity and drawing...no inhibitions about how it's supposed to look! Lovely fingerprints!
ha ha yes he did well to make everything match so well : )

Ooooh I agree. Kids offer so many of God's fingerprints. This is a great post!
