Something to Think About
Go... Make a Difference

Let us not become weary in doing
good, for at the proper time we will
reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Steps for Brady

Momlogic posted a fantasic article written by a woman named Megan during a recent contest. In the article, Megan talks about how life sometimes takes unexpected turns. From having triplets, to her son being diagnosed with cancer (at 20 months), she writes an unbelievable short story about what she's been through. Megan is actually one of those mom bloggers out there with a website called, "Steps for Brady." She set up the site to share the journey her family is on during the treatment and hopefully the recovery of her son, Brady.

At the end of the article, Megan talks about how they are dealing with all the changes that come at them. She says, "So many people tell me, "God won't give you more than you can handle." My answer now is without a doubt, He has. I can't handle the pain of facing my own child's mortality...I can't, but with God, I can."

Personally, I think sometimes it can be frustrating to be going through something, only to hear the quote "God won't give you more than you can handle.." I once heard it said a little different which made a huge difference for me. They said, "God doesn't so much only give you what you can handle, but He helps you handle what you are given."

Please pray for this family as they fight this cancer, and try to have a normal family life. Pray that they will have the strength and courage they'll need to face each day.
