The Forgiving Sea

I have been made clean, O Lord
It's Your blood that washes over me
Then why do I persist, O Lord in keeping my sin with me?

Your love is deeper than the ocean
Your grace, it covers all of me
So take my sin, Lord, away from here
And cast it forever into the forgiving sea.

God help me to see myself as You do Lord
Cleansed, forgiven and free
Sanctified, purified and loved, O Lord
Washed clean by the waves of the forgiving sea.
